Twiki is a collaboration application. It has it's own text formatting rules which is pretty easy to master. Twiki mostly consist of few twiki web's ( you can look at it as web directory) and each twiki web can contain many 'web topics' (think of topics as web pages). For IWGDD we are going to have 5 twiki webs (IWGDD, Policy, Organization, Technical, Sectors). We will have 5 user groups for each web. Below are some quick links to a twiki tutoral, documentation and reference manual.

First steps

• First you need to register as a Twiki user. From the left navigation links click on blue 'Register' link to register.
• After you register we will add your user name to a twiki group that we have. We are going to have twiki web group for each twiki web we have (IWGDD, Policy, Organization, Technical,Sectors). We will set the permission for each group so you can edit or create new topic (web page).
• To create a new Topic (Page) click "Create New Topic" from left side menu.
• If you want to experiment a little bit before you create a topics on your group web you can do it on a Sandbox web which is made specifically for trying out , playing around and getting a feel for twiki.
